Another batch of locals exit terrorists-besieged eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA – 23 locals from the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo that had been held hostage by the terrorist organizations exited the neighborhoods on Friday evening, and Aleppo Governorate provided them with all their needs.

SANA’s correspondent in Aleppo said that army units secured the evacuation of 23 people from Hanano Housings neighborhood, most of them women and children, and they were escorted to safety.

Louay Qabbani said that he and his family, which consists of his wife and five children, are feeling indescribable joy and feel like they were born again after escaping the terrorists, adding that he and his family experienced very tragic circumstances and that his children were deprived of education and all the basics of life.

Mohammad Riyad Yousef, another person who exited the eastern neighborhoods, said he suffers from a heart condition but couldn’t receive any care in the eastern neighborhoods because the militants keep all the medicine and food for themselves and their families and deprive civilians of them.

Mohammad Riyad’s son Ahmad, who is a soldier in the Syrian Arab Army, said that he and his colleagues carried out concentrated operations in Hanano Housings neighborhood and managed to reach his home where he was reunited with his family that he hasn’t seen for four years, and then they helped evacuate them along with other families from the area.

Earlier today, SANA’s correspondent had said that a batch of locals manage to escape the eastern neighborhoods from the direction of Hanano Housings and reached positions of the Syrian Arab Army, where they were provided with transportation and all their needs by the authorities.

A number of locals had managed to exit the eastern neighborhoods on Tuesday, but others remain there and are prevented from leaving by terrorist organizations affiliated with Jabhat al-Nusra, Nour Eddin al-Zenki Movement, and Ahrar al-Cham.

The eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo witnessed during the past few days demonstration as hundreds of the locals took to the streets, chanting slogans describing terrorists as thieves for confiscating food from the people, and asked them to leave their areas.
