Temperatures to drop, rain expected in most areas across the country

DAMASCUS, SANA- Temperatures remain around average as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies are clear in general, some scattered clouds appear in various areas. The weather will be cold at night and frost will appear on the mountainous heights.

The winds will be northeastern of low speed, while the sea waves will be in low amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 20/08, Daraa 21/09, and Homs 20 / 05, Hama 21/06, Lattakia 23/16, Aleppo 19/08 and Deir Ezzor 22/08.
