Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy in most areas, rain will be accompanied with thunder sometimes and temperatures will drop notably.
The winds will be western to southwestern of moderate speed with gusts and the sea waves will be high in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 17/09, Daraa 18/11, Homs 14/08, Hama15/09, Lattakia 19/12, Aleppo 14/07 and Deir Ezzor 17/09.
