32-truck humanitarian aid convoy delivered to Inkhel, al-Harra and Jassem cities in Daraa

 

Daraa, SANA – In cooperation between the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), a humanitarian aid convoy was delivered to cities in the northwestern countryside of the southern Daraa province.

The convoy includes 32 trucks loaded with 130 tons of aid supplies to the cities of Inkhel, al-Harra and Jassem.

Governor of Daraa province Khaled al-Hannous told the reporters that the aid came in the framework of the humanitarian response plan to cover all areas of the province.

He noted that about 8,000 families in Inkhel, al-Harra and Jassem will benefit from the assistance.

Head of the SARC Branch in Daraa Ahmad al-Masalmeh said that the assistance includes 5,000 food packages, 4,000 canned food packages and 3,000 health material packages.
