Provinces, SANA – The army operations against terrorist organizations result in destroying more of their positions, vehicles and heavy weapons, in addition to leaving many of their members dead or wounded.
Damascus
Army units thwarted on Friday morning an attack launched by terrorists of the so called “Jaish al-Islam” and “al-Rahman Legion” on the army points in Jobar neighborhood on the eastern outskirts of Damascus.
A field commander told SANA reporter that terrorist groups from the so called “al-Rahman Legion” tried at six o’clock in the morning to infiltrate from a tunnel and attack army’s advanced points on the schools’ axis in the southwest side of Jobar neighborhood.
He pointed out that the army’s members thwarted the attack using light and medium weapons, killing eight terrorists and inflicting heavy losses on them.
The Commander noted that the terrorist groups tried to infiltrate through the tunnels and directly attack the army’s points to cover up the infiltrating terrorists from the axis of Sinbul Gas Station in the direction of Eyn Tarma Bridge on the outskirts of Jobar neighborhood, adding that the attack was foiled and the attackers were killed or injured while their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.
He added that terrorist groups targeted with mortars and rocket shells the neighboring residential gatherings in al-Abassyieen area, noting that army units responded with artillery and tank shells on the rocket-launching sources and destroyed them.
Hama
Army units destroyed positions, mortars, armored vehicles and cars equipped with machine guns belonging to terrorists of “Al-Izza Gathering”, “Jaish al-Nassr” and Jabhat al-Nusra in Souran, Tal al-Naserriyeh, al-Latamina, Tibet al-Imam, Morek, al-Lahaya, al-Zallaqiat, Maarakba and Kafr Zita in the countryside of Hama, a military source said.
Idleb
In the neighboring Idleb province, the Syrian Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles for the terrorist organizations in Kafr Nubbul and Khan Sheikhoun in the countryside.
Lattakia
The Syrian Air Force destroyed armored vehicles belonging to terrorists in Tardin, Kafr Sand, al-Kinda, Ktaf Rajjoub and Hallouz in the northern countryside of Lattakia.
The airstrikes, according to a military source, resulted in killing and wounding a number of terrorists and destroying two vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition.
Aleppo
An army unit destroyed two vehicles for ISIS terrorists in Rasm al-Hirmel in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. A number of the ISIS terrorist group members were eliminated.
Sweida
In southern Syria, an army unit destroyed several cars and armored vehicles belonging to ISIS terrorists in Tal Dhafla’ in the countryside of Sweida province.
The army unit directed intensive strikes against gatherings and fortified sites of ISIS terrorists in the area, leaving a number of them killed and wounded and destroying several armored vehicles.
Homs
Army units carried out strikes on sites and movement axes of terrorist organizations in the vicinity of Talbiseh and the villages of Kissin, al-Ghajar and al-Zafarana in Homs northern countryside.
Terrorists’ vehicles, some of them equipped with heavy machineguns, were destroyed along with all terrorists inside them due to army’s strikes.
Daraa
An army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their fortifications and vehicles during concentrated strikes on their gatherings in al-Bajajeh district and to the east of Beir al-Shyiah in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa.
