Authorities arrest a member of drug dealers gang , seize 100,000 Captagon pills in Hama

Hama, SANA- The competent authorities in Hama on Monday seized an amount of Captagon pills in the possession of a gang of drug dealers in al-Qosour neighborhood.

Hama police chief, Maj. Gen. Ashraf Taha, told SANA reporter that the Criminal Security Department in Hama seized 100,000 pills of Captagon packed in bags after storming into the den of a drug dealers gang in al-Qosour neighborhood.

Taha indicated that a member of the gang was arrested inside the den and investigations are underway to arrest the rest of the gang’s members to be later prosecuted.

On August 26th, the competent authorities arrested two drug pushers in Hama and seized 13 kg of hashish and 4,200 pills of Captagon in their possession.
