Moscow, SANA- Chairman of the General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU) Jamal al-Qadiri affirmed that the visit of the Federation’s delegation to Russia and the meetings held there were important at all levels.
In an interview with SANA reporter in Moscow, al-Qadiri said that our visit to Moscow came upon an invitation of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, adding that we were briefed on the prospects of possible cooperation between the two federations.
He stressed that the Syrian delegation explained to the Russian side the impacts of the terrorist war on the working class in Syria and the systematic targeting which affected all segments of the Syrian people, including workers.
