Warsaw, SANA-Patriarch john X Yazigi of Antioch and All the East for Greek Orthodox affirmed that the Christians today are adhered to their land, Syria, more than any time before and they will not leave it whatever circumstances would be.
“Terrorist war on Syria has started since nearly 5 years under many pretexts and names, and we, as Christians along with other people, pay a precise price-the blood of our sons- while many countries live in stability at the expense of our sacrifices,” Patriarch John X Yazigi said upon his arrival in Warsaw, heading a church delegation in the framework of a visit to Poland.
He pointed out to the crimes perpetrated by terrorists in Syria, their destruction of churches, mosques and monuments, condemning the silence of international community.
