Malfunction at electrical substation causes blackout in southern region

Damascus, SANA – A source at the Electricity Ministry said that a malfunction occurred at an electrical substation, causing a blackout in the southern region.

The source said that maintenance teams are working to repair the malfunction, and power should return gradually within 6 to 10 hours.
