Terrorists breach cessation of hostilities agreement seven more times

 

Moscow, SANA- The cessation of hostilities agreement was breached seven more times by terrorist groups in the past 24 hours in Lattakia and Damascus provinces on Monday.

Based in Hmeimim airbase in Lattakia, the center added in a statement that eight areas, among them 5 in Sweida province and three in Aleppo have joined the reconciliations, raising the total number of the town and villages which joined the
agreement to 368, while the number of the armed terrorist groups which showed commitment to the agreement to 69.

The center added that Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorist organizations continue their attempts to sabotage the agreement, asserting that the so-called Jaish al-Islam terrorist organization targeted with mortar shells and rocket launchers the towns of Hawsh Nasri, Harasta and Douma al-Qqaboun in Damascus Countryside, in addition to Joubar neighborhood in Damascus city.

In Aleppo province, the statement said that terrorists targeted a number of areas and
residential neighborhoods in the city, including al-Ansari neighborhood and al-Nairab Airport and al-Liramoun area.

The cessation of hostilities agreement does not include ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups defined as terrorist organizations by the UN Security Council.
