Patriarch Laham calls for holding prayers for establishing peace in the region and eliminating terrorism

Beirut, SANA- Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All East Gregory III Laham called for holding prayers and fasting worldwide during the current month for establishing peace in the region and eliminating terrorism.

In a statement on Monday, SANA got a copy of, Laham said that the growing terrorism invades the world, threatens many countries and spreads panic every where, pointing to the terrorist crimes which Syria has been witnessing and those which have recently hit many European countries.

Earlier, the Patriarch called on the world’s countries to cooperate for facing terrorism, restoring stability and security to Syria and putting an end to the crises in the region.
