Damascus, SANA-Caretaker Interior Minister Mohammad al-Shaar said the efforts of the internal security forces, along with the Syrian army, in battling terrorists are coming to fruition in all areas across the country.
Al-Shaar, who was speaking during a visit on Monday to the Special Missions Unit in Adra area in Damascus countryside, stressed the importance that the security forces maintain high alert to fulfill the missions assigned to them.
Hailing the sacrifices of the internal security forces and the Syrian army, al-Shaar affirmed that the true Eid is “when we meet after Syria have been free of the last terrorist.”
Meanwhile, al-Shaar met with police officers and personnel in Qudsayya area, calling on them to lead by example in abiding by the law and fulfilling their duties.
