Ryabkov: Moscow ready to study US proposals on joint military cooperation in Syria

Moscow, SANA-Moscow has not yet received official proposals from Washington aimed at deepening military cooperation during anti-terrorist operations in Syria, but will carefully study them if they materialize, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told RIA Novosti on Thursday.

The Washington Post earlier reported that the Obama administration had proposed a new agreement to the Russian government that would deepen military cooperation between the two countries in fight against terrorists in Syria.

“They have not arrived yet, but we saw the reports. We will carefully study the proposals when and if we receive them,” Ryabkov said.
