Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain 3 to 8 degrees above average in most areas as the country is affected by low air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be very hot and the skies will be clear in general, while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The wind will be northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude, according to the bulletin.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 40/24, Daraa 40/23, Homs 37/24, Lattakia 30/23, Aleppo 40/24 and Deir Ezzor 44/28.
