Aleppo, SANA-Delegated by President Bashar al-Assad, Chief of the General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces Gen. Ali Abdullah Ayoub paid a field visit to military units and sites in Aleppo and its countryside and on Athriya-alTabka axis.
Gen. Ayoub inspected the combat preparedness of the units and sites and the situation of the combatants, underlining their role in eliminating terrorist organizations and aborting schemes which aim at undermining Syria’s unity and sovereignty.
Ayoub listened to field commanders explaining the nature of military missions and operations against ISIS as well as plans to improve future military operations.
Gen. Ayoub conveyed the military leadership’s appreciation for the efforts of the army and armed forces in defending the homeland, hailing their high morale in fighting terrorists.
At the end of his visit, Gen. Ayoub said Syria will triumph over the aggressors thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian army, vowing that the Syrian armed forces are determined to restore security and stability to every inch of Syria.
The army personnel, for their part, vowed to maintain their preparedness and high morale to defeat terrorism and its backers.
