Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become around average as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by wet southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the skies will be cloudy sometimes in the northern , the coastal and the inland areas, and local rain showers might fall in these areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed, while it will become active in the afternoon, while the sea waves will be medium in height.
On Friday and Saturday, the temperatures will noticeably drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average and the skies will be partly cloudy in general and rain showers are expected in different areas across the country.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/14, Daraa 28/14, Homs 26/14, Tartous 27/17, Aleppo 29/14 and Deir Ezzor 32/17.
