Two civilians killed due to explosion of an ISIS landmine in southern Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA – Two civilians were killed in a blast of an ISIS landmine in the southern countryside of the northeastern Hasaka province.

A source at Hasaka Police Command said in a statement to SANA reporter that a mine of those left behind by ISIS terrorists in al-Sulaimaniyeh village, located to the southwest of al-Shaddadi city, went off, claiming the lives of two persons.

On May 17th, one civilian was killed in an explosion of a landmine which terrorists had attached to a wheat-loaded truck in al-Oweija village in the southeastern countryside of Qamishli.
