Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to be around average as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be moderate as the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers might fall in the eastern areas while the weather will be misty with dusty conditions in the eastern and al-Badyia “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will gradually rise to become above average in most areas and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 28/17, Daraa 26/17, Homs 23/15, Lattakia 25/16, Aleppo 27/15 and Deir Ezzor 33/18.
