Damascus, SANA- Food Processing and Packaging Exhibition /Food Expo 2016/ concluded its activities on Wednesday at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus.
The exhibition which was organized by Delta Group for Economy & Business formed an important opportunity for companies working in the field of nutritional industries as an annual event for offering everything new in their productions and services.
Sales’ director of al-Risalah Group “Milk Man” Shadi al-Khadra noted to the importance of engaging the industrial companies in ensuring the local markets’ demands with reasonable prices and sharing in the food security in spite of the difficulties that face these companies.
Other directors of many companies working in food production said the participation in this exhibition aims at sending a message that the localand national production still has the confidence of citizens.
For his part, Ghiath Shama’a, General Manager of Delta Group, said that the agricultural and food industry sectors proved their steadfastness and continue to fulfill the Syrian people’s needs and requirements despite the difficult work and production conditions which, in turn, contribute to preserving the fame and high quality of Syrian products
Activities of /Food Expo 2016/ were launched on Monday at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus with the participation of major local companies specialized in food industry.
