Occupied Jerusalem, SANA – The Palestinian Popular Committee for Defending Syria and the Palestinian Prisoners Campaign reiterated their support to Syria, the major ally of the Palestinian Cause, in its struggle to defeat terrorism and the takfiri obscurant mentality.
In a statement issued on the 70th anniversary of evacuating the French occupation forces from Syria which coincides with the Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, the Palestinian Popular Committee and the Palestinian Prisoners Campaign hailed the Syrian Arab army’s achievements in its fight against the criminal Zionist-backed terrorist organizations, expressing confidence in victory.
The statement condemned the targeting of Lebanese national resistance by agents of Israeli occupation, in an indication to Al Saud regime, adding that the attempts to regard resistance as terrorism serve the Zionist scheme to bury the Palestinian Cause.
It extended greetings to Syria’s leadership, army and people, noting that the sacrifices and heroism of Syrian soldiers revive hope inside the prisoners despite the darkness of the Israeli occupation’s jails.
