Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to drop to become lower than average from 3 to 5 degrees as the country is being affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by wet cold air currents.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy rainy sometimes over various areas across the country, snow is expected over the mountains of more than 1000 meters height.
The winds will be western to southwestern of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of high amplitude.
On Monday, the same prevailing weather condition continues, but snow will fall over the mountains of 700m height and temperatures continue to drop to become lower than average from 5 to 8 degrees.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 08/01, Daraa 10/02, Homs 07/00, Hama07/01, Hasaka 10/03, Lattakia 11/06, Aleppo 0701 and Deir Ezzor 10/02.
