4000 food packages by Red Crescent for terrorism-affected people in southern Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA – The branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in Hasaka started on Sunday distributing food packages to terrorism-affected families in the southern area of the northeastern province.

Gharbi al-Mardoud, the SARC head, told SANA that 4000 packages are allocated to people in al-Shaddadi, Markada and al-Arisha in southern Hasaka.

Last July, the SARC distributed 6,000 food packages to affected people in the southern area and displaced families from al-Shaddadi who are living in Hasaka city.
