Provinces, SANA – The army continued clampdown on terrorist organizations all around the country, inflicting more losses upon their ranks as many terrorists are getting killed and their weapons and equipment destroyed.
Damascus countryside
The army killed 8 terrorists and injured scores others in military operations against their dens in Saqba, in addition to killing terrorist Baha’a, nicknamed as “Abu al-Laial” and others in Erbin in eastern al-Ghouta in Damascus countryside.
In Douma, the army inflected heavy losses upon terrorists of so-called “Jaish al-Islam”, eliminating a number of them, including “Tawfiq Billeh and Yahya al-Dalli.
In western al-Ghouta, the army also killed a number of terrorists from “Ajnad al-Cham” and “Liwa al-Islam”.
Meantime, the army established control on five buildings in al-Jam’iyat neighborhood in Daraya.
Daraa
Army units targeted dens of terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and other organizations in the northern countryside of the southern Daraa province, a military source told SANA on Wednesday.
Two rocket launchers were destroyed in the square of al-Ghariyeh al-Sharqiyeh village and a number of terrorists were killed in Kahil town and Jbeib village as a result of the operations.
Many terrorists were killed and several of their dens and vehicles were destroyed, including a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun, in Miqqas al-Hajar, to the west of Tal al-Zaatar and al-Yadouda town in the northwestern countryside of the province.
Positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were targeted in separate areas in Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhood in the city of Daraa.
In Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, an army unit destroyed an observation center, a cannon, a vehicle and a car for terrorist organizations in various areas.
Homs
An army unit targeted dens of ISIS terrorists to the southwest of Palmyra city, 160 km to the east of Homs City.
The source added that a number of the terrorists were killed and their arms and ammunition were destroyed.
More ISIS terrorists were killed and others were injured and their arms and equipment were destroyed as the army targeted their positions and moevemnts to the east of Jeb al-Jarrah town, 73 km to the east of Homs City, according to the source.
Army units destroyed gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra in Dair Foul, Tal al-Umari and the area surrounding Talbiseh in the northern countryside of Homs.
Hama
In central Syria, the Army air force eliminated a number of terrorists in Tal Wasit, al-Ziara, Tal Zajram, al-Zaka, Kafar Zita and al-Bahsa in Hama countryside.
Aleppo
Units of the army targeted dens of ISIS terrorists in the surrounding of the air force academy, Balat and Assafiyra to the east of Aleppo northern city.
During the army operations, a big number of terrorists were killed and their weapons were destroyed.
The army also killed several terrorists and destroyed heavy cannon while targeting their cells in Bani Zaid, old Aleppo, Sheikh Said and al-Ramoseh in Aleppo city.
Lattakia
Army units destroyed a weapons depot and a number of vehicles, including an armored one, belonging to terrorists in a number of areas in the northern countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army carried out operations against terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Dweir al-Akrad, Jeb al-Ahmar and Abu Risheh, killing scores of terrorists and destroying a number of vehicles, an armored vehicle, and a weapons depot.
Idleb
The Army air force destroyed vehicles and gatherings of “Jaish al-Fatah” in Khan Sheikhon, Ma’aret Masrin, Ariha and the area surrounding Abu al-Dohour airport in Idleb countryside.
