Provinces, SANA- The army units continued to carry out bombardments and heavy airstrikes against the hideouts and positions of the terrorist organizations in many areas across the country, killing and injuring scores of their members, some of whom are non-Syrians.
Al-Zabadani, Damascus Countryside
Syrian Arab Army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, eliminated two terrorist leaders during their operations in al-Zabadani city in Damascus Countryside.
Sources on the ground identified the two terrorists as Abdullah Ahmad Abdullah, the leader of the “western neighborhood sector” terrorist group in the city, and Omar Ahmad Hamdan, who was in charge of rigging and manufacturing explosives in the “Hamza Bin Abdulmutaleb Battalions” terrorist group.
The army and the Lebanese resistance also established control over more building blocks in the western neighborhood and al-Zahra’a area west of al-Abadan city center after eliminating concentrations of terrorists in them.
Later, a military source told SANA that the army and the resistance established control over 16 building blocks north of al-Zabadani city center after eliminating many terrorists in the area.
Terrorist organizations’ social media pages acknowledged the death of a number of their members in al-Zabadani, including Abdo Daher al-Tal, Omar Adnan Hamdan, Abdelrazzq al-Tal, and Malek Mahmoud Kharita.
Lattakia
The army air force raided hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra and other Erdogan’s regime-linked terrorist organizations in the northeastern countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia.
Scores of terrorists, mostly of foreign nationalities, were killed and their weaponry was destroyed in the army air strikes in the villages of al-Helwa and al-Rawda in the countryside of the province, a military source told SANA Monday.
Meanwhile, an army unit killed 9 terrorists and destroyed their two rocket launchers in Uteira village in the countryside of Lattakia.
Homs
In the neighboring central Province, the army air force carried out intensive strikes against dens and positions of the ISIS terrorists in the countryside of Palmyra and al-Qaryatain city in the central Homs province.
The warplanes raided positions of ISIS terrorist organization in al-Baiyarat, 40 km to the west of Palmyra city and the surroundings of Jazal gas field, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their arms.
A number of vehicles belonging to the ISIS were also destroyed in airstrikes against their positions and hotbeds in the surroundings of Mahsa village to the south of al-Qaryatain city, 85 km to the southeast of Homs.
Later, a military source said the army’s Air Force eliminated dozens of ISIS terrorists in Palmyra, east of al-Shaer gas field, Mghaizil and al-Qariatain Homs countryside.
Hama
The army air force carried out a series of concentrated blows against terrorist organizations; gatherings and hideouts in the villages of Tal waste, Zajram, al- Enkawi, Zaizoun and al-Haloubi in the northwestern countryside of the central province of Hama.
The army air strikes resulted in the killing of a number of terrorists and demolishing of their machineguns-equipped vehicles, ammunition and equipment.
Army units also eliminated scores of terrorists in the areas of al-Mansoura, al-Tanjara, al-Zyara, Kifr Nabouda and al-Zaqoum to the north-west of the province.
SANA reporter said later on that the army targeted terrorists in al-Hwash village in al-Ghab Plains, killing 14 terrorists and destroying their hideout along with two ammo caches and 4 vehicles equipped with medium machineguns.
Meanwhile, the terrorist organizations admitted on their social media websites the killing of a number of their members, among them the so-called “Military commander of Jund al-Aqsa in Lattakia”, nicknamed Abu Ahmad al-Baniasi.
Whereas, media sources reported the killing of 25 terrorists, among them 17 terrorists from foreign nationalities, mostly affiliated to the so-called Islamic Turkstan Party and Jabhat al-Nusra.
Idleb
The Popular Defense Groups in cooperation with the locals of al-Foah town foiled on Monday morning a terrorist attack launched by large numbers of “Jaish al-Fatah” members to attack their town in the northern countryside of Idleb.
Local sources from inside the town told SANA by phone that terrorist groups attacked the town from many directions, clashing with the popular defense groups who killed many of them, including Mustafa Hamdoun, a field commander.
The source said that Popular Defense Groups destroyed a vehicle which terrorists used in their attempt to infiltrate into the town on the road of Deir Zughaib village to the south of al-Foah town.
Dozens of rocket and mortar shells landed in al-Foah town and Kifaryia village, which are blockaded by terrorist organizations, causing massive material damage to the houses.
Meanwhile, the army air force raided concentrated strikes against the terrorist organizations’ supply routes in the village of Ein al-Sawda, north of Jisr al-Shughour city, killing and injuring a number of the so-called Fateh Army terrorists.
Additionally, a number of terrorists were killed and injured in the army air strikes against their gatherings in the villages of Kaniset al-Nakhleh and al-Sahen village, according to the source.
The army air force killed a number of terrorist organizations’ members and destroyed their vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition in the villages of Tal Salmo and al-Teraa in abu al-Duhour area, 50 km south east of Idleb.
Aleppo
The army air force carried out many air strikes on the hideouts and gatherings of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria ISIS terrorist organization in Tal al-Na’amiyeh and in the vicinity of the Air Force Academy in Aleppo province, 40 km east of Aleppo city.
A number of ISIS terrorist were killed and their machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed on the army operations.
Later, a military source said that the army units defending Kwayres Airport in Aleppo province thwarted an infiltration attempt by ISIS terrorists, killing dozens of them and destroying a large number of their vehicles, including armored vehicles.
A military source said that a number of army forces, defending the airport, were killed during the fierce clashes with terrorists in the vicinity of the airport
The army also killed and injured a number of terrorists in accurate operations against their hideouts in Qastal Harami, al-Lairamon, the old city, al-Ashrafyeh, Bani Zaid and Balat.
Daraa
Army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings to the north of the chips factory on Daraa –Tafas road in Daraa countryside.
A number of terrorists, most of them members of “Jabhat al-Nusra” were killed and their ammo and weaponry were destroyed in the strikes.
An Army unit killed many terrorists, injured many others and destroyed amounts of their ammunition during intensive strikes against terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in al-Shomra village in the northeast countryside of Daraa.
Another army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons in al-Gharia in the southeast countryside of Daraa.
The Army destroyed terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Samlin, al-Hara and Daraa al-Mahata neighborhood.
The Army eliminated all the members of a terrorist group while they were trying to infiltrate from Rakhm and al-Karak al-Sharqi in Daraa countryside.
Later, the army destroyed a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns in Ebtaa and Da’el in Daraa northern countryside.
Among the dead terrorists were Khaled al-Rawabdeh and Saber Ahmad Safar.
