Damascus, SANA- Damascus University set June 26th as a date for the start of free foreign languages courses at the Higher Institute for Languages.
The courses are the second part of the activities of “Live Syria 2015” campaign.
Head of the Languages Department at the Institute Ali al-Lahham pointed out that three free courses in Japanese, Perisian, and Aramaic languages will open to seat around 122 students.
Al-Laham added that the courses are free of charges, affirming the social role of the institute which will continue holding training courses in French, English and Arabic.
The Higher Institute for Languages had opened during last May three free courses in Spanish, Italian, and Armenian languages as a first part of “Live Syria 2015” campaign.
Live Syria 2015 is an initiative bringing together individuals, establishments, and companies from the public and private sectors with the aim of providing facilitations and services to improve Syria’s living standards.
