Provinces, SANA- Units of the army and the armed forces on Tuesday carried out large-scale military operations against the Takfiri terrorist organizations across Syria, killing dozens of their members and destroying their arms and ammunition.
Damascus Countryside
The army air force eliminated tens of terrorists and destroyed their hideouts and vehicles in Kherbat al-Hamam, Kherbat al-Khanzeir and San Tekha in Qalamoun in Damascus Countryside.
Earlier, an Army unit destroyed a number of terrorists’ dens and killed many of them in the farms of Zibdin and al-Qasimia villages in al-Nashabia area in Damascus Countryside.
SANA’s field correspondent said that Walid al-Khatib, Bashar Hjirati and Mohamed Naeem were identified among the dead terrorists.
In Douma city, an Army unit destroyed terrorists’ hideout and two of their vehicles in al-Jara rotary, eliminating many terrorists in the process including Zuheir Mustafa, Abadelrahman Njoum, Sleiman Abadelrazzak al-Khatib, and Seifo Awad al-Amori.
Another Army unit targeted a terrorist group in Aaliya farms at the northern outskirts of Douma, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
Daraa
At least 40 Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed as the army launched airstrikes on their positions in the northeastern countryside of Daraa province, southern Syria.
The airstrikes hit positions in the towns of al-Mleiheh al-Sharqiyeh, al-Karak and al-Hrak, according to a military source.
Sail al-Badawi, a terrorist group’s leader, was confirmed dead along with all members of his group.
Four other terrorist groups’ leaders were killed as army units clashed with terrorists who attacked a military post on the axis of al-Hrak and al-Karak al-Sharqi towns, the source told SANA.
Those are Sail al-Shar’eh, Fouad al-Qedri, Nabil al-Hariri and Abu Hossam al-Kour.
The terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the deaths of dozens of their groups’ leaders in al-Hrak, including Abdul-Hamis Mohammad Kheir al-Saad of the so-called “Ahbab al-Rasoul Brigade”.
Army units carried out concentrated operations on Monday night against dens and supply routes of the terrorists in southern Daraa province, destroying three of their vehicles.
A number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other takfiri organizations were killed and others were injured in the towns of al-Karak and al-Gharyiat and heavy losses were inflicted upon them.
An army unit also carried out concentrated blows against terrorists, who were moving in the vicinity of Rakhm village in the eastern countryside of the province, destroying one of their vehicles loaded with arms and ammunition, and killing a number of terrorists.
Army units killed a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and so-called “Al-Muthana Islamic Movement” and injured others in Daraa al-Balad, destroying one of their vehicles on the road of al-Sadd-al-Arsad al-Jawiya, in addition to destroying a truck in the vicinity of Bilal al-Habashi Mosque.
Units of the army also repelled an attempt by terrorists to attack military posts in the area surrounding Ataman town, 4 km to the north of Daraa, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.
Quneitra
Units of the army destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and a mortar launcher of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of al-Hamidiya and Mas’hara in the countryside of southern Quneitra province.
The army killed a number of terrorists during the operation.
The army also targeted gatherings of terrorists in al-Qahtaniya village in Qunaitera northern countryside, destroying weapons and killing several terrorists.
Sweida
The army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, targeted a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun belonging to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) around al-Qasr in the northeastern countryside of the southern Sweida province. All the terrorists on board the vehicle were killed
The army operations against the terrorists’ hideouts and positions around the village continued, leaving many of them killed and their weapons and ammunition destroyed.
Aleppo
Meanwhile, army units directly targeted dens, positions and supply routes of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Mare’, Tal Rifaat, Harbel and Talalin in the northern countryside of Aleppo province.
Many terrorists were killed and others were injured and their arms and ammunition were destroyed in the operations, according to the source.
More Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed in Khan al-Asal, Khan Touman and al-Zirba in Jabal Samaan area and to the west of al-Nairab Airport in the southern countryside of the province.
Groups of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment in the vicinity of the Air Force Academy in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
In the southeastern countryside, an army unit carried out a precise operation against dens and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Tardim village and to the east of al-Sfeira, leaving many of the terrorists killed.
In the same context, army units clashed with Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and inflicted heavy losses upon them in the neighborhoods of al-Sukkari, al-Maadi, Old Aleppo al-Salihin, Hanano, al-Mashhad, al-Ansari, al-Ameriyeh and Tal al-Zarazir neighborhoods in Aleppo city.
Idleb
The army air force killed dozens of terrorists and destroyed their hideouts and vehicles in Idleb city, Abu al-Dohour, al-Mijas, al-Hamidyeh, al-Khufyeh, al-Basheer, al-Mirwana and Tal Salmo in Idleb countryside.
Earlier, the Army Air Force destroyed vehicles and dens of terrorist groups’ leaders in Ein al-Hamra, Bani Izz, al-Bashiriyeh, Bzeet and Bashlamoun in the countryside of the northern Idleb province.
The Air Force also carried out air strikes against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to the north of Jisr al-Shughour city, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Homs
In the central Homs province, units of the army and armed forces clashed with terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) who attacked al-Sammamat area, al-Baida village and Biyaret Um al-Tababir in the countryside of Palmyra in the eastern countryside of the province.
The clashes resulted in killing and wounding dozens of the terrorists and destroying their weapons, ammunition and vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns.
The army air force killed dozens of terrorists and destroyed their hideouts and vehicles in Idleb city, Abu al-Dohour, al-Mijas, al-Hamidyeh, al-Khufyeh, al-Basheer, al-Mirwana and Tal Salmo in Idleb countryside.
Other army units targeted ISIS terrorists’ hideouts in the villages of Rajm al-Qasr and Um Sahrij in eastern Homs, leaving many of them dead.
In the northern countryside of Homs, an army unit killed scores of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in operations against their hideouts and positions in Talet al-Rastan.
Hasaka
The Army Air Force destroyed a convoy of ISIS armored vehicles and others equipped with heavy machineguns in the southern countryside of northeastern Hasaka province.
Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, targeted ISIS terrorists’ movements in Abyad area to the southwest of Hasaka city, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
