Homs, SANA- Al-Ghzaileh village is located over a high hill, 26 km to the northwest of Homs city.
It is famous for its beautiful nature and a mild climate which attracts the visitors coming from Homs and other Syrian provinces.
The dam which is situated to the west of the village grants the place a wonderful scene, and the village is decorated in spring and summer with plains of greenery and different kinds and colors of wild flowers to add to its fragrance and enchantment.
One of Al-Ghzaileh citizens, Mahmoud al-Sha’er told SANA that the ancient village is still maintaining its heritage feature through its old houses, made of blue Basalt stone in addition to the surrounding modern houses from four sides to form a captivating view collecting the authentic heritage and modernity.
The dam is adjacent to fields planted in olive trees.
The name of al-Ghzaileh village is the diminutive of al Gazelle (the deer).
