Damascus Countryside, SANA- More than 600 children from Deir Atiyyah city in Damascus Countryside on Saturday participated in the national activity dubbed “Our roses draw flowers” organized by the Sport Club in the city in appreciation of the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.
The children expressed joy for participating in the activity by dressing bright colors to show their pride in the sacrifices of the army in restoring security and stability to the homeland.
Appreciating the role of the army in facilitating their return to school and practicing their activities and hobbies safely, the children expressed hope that peace be restored to Syria.
About 60 children with special needs participated in the activity which was organized in cooperation with the Syrian Red Crescent Organization and the village of children with special needs.
In November 2013, army units restored security and stability to Deir Atiyyah following special operations resulted in eliminating the terrorists’ gatherings in it.
