The start of the second phase of supporting Syrian pound campaign

Damascus, SANA-The second phase of the public intervention sessions to support the Syrian pound (Lira ) and national economy is kicked off by the Syrian expatriates within “the Syrian Phoenix” campaign.

Co-organizer of the campaign, Nisreen Zreiq told SANA Wednesday that, during the 2nd phase, it is scheduled to open sale points first in Lattakia, Damascus and Damascus countryside provinces to be extended later to the rest of the provinces after ensuring the arrival of goods to specific places to enable citizens to buy them at half price comparing to local market prices.

The second public campaign concentrates on supporting the national commodities, in addition to supporting exportation with the expatriates purchasing the national commodities and pumping them in the international markets that are paid for through foreign currencies, Zreiq Added .

She asserted that the sale points will be full of food commodities and continuously will be supplied with main materials and goods over the whole year to sell them at unified price in all areas , pointing out that the campaign depends on an economic plan prepared by specialists in economy and patriotic businessmen .

Zreiq highlighted that the second phase of the campaign will be accompanied by organizing bazaars for buying Syrian commodities in the cities where Syrian expatiates live.

The Campaign announced earlier that it will launch its second phase on 25th May.
