Provinces, SANA-The army and armed forces on carried out on Saturday special operations against dens and gatherings of terrorist organizations, killing a number of terrorists and inuring scores others.
Homs
Army units killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their arms and ammunition in Um Sahreej village in eastern Homs, a military source told SANA.
The source added that another army unit fired at groups of terrorists in Mazbal al-Beid village in northeastern Homs, leaving many of them killed or injured.
A number of vehicles for the terrorists, some of which equipped with heavy machine guns, were destroyed in the operations.
In the far northeast of Homs near Raqqa, the army carried out more operations during which it destroyed vehicles of ISIS terrorists in Rahoum village.
Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in Talat al-Madraja, Masada and al-Rastan in Homs countryside.
Aleppo
The army targeted terrorist positions in Bustan al-Qassr, Bustan al-Basha, Qastal Mishit and Old City in Aleppo, northern Syria, said a military source.
The source told SANA that the operations hit their targets precisely, killing a number of terrorists, injuring others and destroying their arms and ammunition.
Other operations took place in al-Lairamoun neighborhood in northwestern Aleppo, leaving a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra dead or wounded. Vehicles equipped with various types of machine guns were destroyed.
In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, units of army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist organizations in personnel and equipment in the area around the thermal station on the international highway leading to Raqqa province. Vehicles with heavy machine guns mounted on them were destroyed during the operations.
Terrorist hideouts were targeted in Bishqateen village, 11 km in eastern Aleppo, with a number of terrorists getting killed or injured.
Hama
The army aircraft destroyed terrorist hideouts in Tuloul al-Homr, Eidoun and al-Tanahej in Hama countryside, leaving dozens of terrorists killed or wounded.
An army unit also destroyed two vehicles equipped with machine guns in Qlaidin village and north of al-Inkawi town, while another unit set an ambush for a terrorist group near al-Mansoura in Hama’s northwestern countryside, eliminating all the group’s members.
A military source told SANA that Syrian Army’s air force targeted terrorist concentrations and routes in al-Qatroun, Ein al-Sabil, Hallouz, and al-Sermaniye in Idleb and Hama provinces, destroying some of their weapons and vehicles.
Daraa
Army units destroyed hideouts of terrorists from Jabhet al-Nusra in the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra province on Saturday.
Many terrorists were killed and some of their weapons and munitions were destroyed when an army unit repelled the terrorists’ attempt to attack Tal Mishmish (hill) in the northern part of al-Ghariyah al-Gharbiyeh village in Daraa’s northeastern countryside.
Another army unit carried out a special operation against terrorist concentrations in an area on the Daraa-Tafas road 13km north of Daraa city, destroying a number of the terrorists’ vehicles.
The army operation coincided with the killing and injuring of a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to the north of Tal al-Mal area in the countryside.
The army continued operations against Jabhet al-Nusra and other affiliated terrorist organizations in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city, destroying a number of their hideouts and killing a number of their members in al-Hamadin neighborhood, north of al-Masri roundabout, and near Bilal al-Habshi Mosque.
More terrorists were killed and their equipment was destroyed north of Atman town and al-Ghezlan farm north of Daraa city.
Another army unit targeted terrorist concentrations in the eastern and western parts of Atman town in Daraa countryside, leaving a number of terrorists dead or injured.
Quneitra
In Quneitra province, a number of terrorists were killed, others were injured, and their weapons and equipment were destroyed in an operation against their hideouts in the southern part of Mas’hara village that borders Daraa’s northwestern countryside.
Other army units killed in special operations a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition near al-Hamidiyeh village west of Quneitra city, in addition to killing and injuring a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist groups in al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh village in the northeastern countryside of Quneitra.
Sweida
A unit of the army and armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, killed a number of terrorists in Koua’ Hadar area in the northern countryside of the southern Sweida province.
The terrorists were trying to infiltrate from the eastern countryside of Daraa province towards al-Badia area to transport ammunition to their groups across Koua’ Hadar area, which is located between the villages of Lahtha and Radimet al-Lawa.
A military source told SANA that the army unit ambushed the infiltrating terrorists and seized amounts of ammunition and various types of weapons, including RPG launchers and a Kornet rocket.
54 US-made rockets were earlier seized by the army in Koua’ Hadar as terrorists were transporting them from al-Lajat area to al-Badia in Sweida countryside.
Hasaka
Army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in al-Shadadi city in Hasaka southern countryside, killing and injuring dozens of terrorists and destroying their weaponry and ammunition.
Damascus Countryside
An army unit targeted terrorist concentrations in Khan al-Sheih farms in Damascus Countryside, leaving many terrorists dead or injured.
Deir Ezzor
The Army and Army forces carried out a series of operations in Deir Ezzor city, which concentrated on hotspots for ISIS terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Orfi and al-Reshdiye and Hasan al-Taha Street, hitting the specified targets with accuracy and leaving a number of terrorists dead or injured.
The army also destroyed hideouts and vehicles for ISIS terrorists in a series of concentrated operations in al-Huwaiqa and al-Huwaiqa al-Gharbiye in Deir Ezzor countryside.
