Weather forecast: Temperatures still below average, rainfalls in most provinces

Damascus, SANA- Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours, the heaviest of which were in Lattakia and Hasaka 21 mm,and in Hama 15 mm.

Rainfalls in other provinces were as follows: 6 mm in Damascus Countryside, 7 mm in Sweida, 9 mm in Quneitra, 10.5 mm in Homs, 15 mm in Hama, 13.5 mm in Tartous and 6 mm in Aleppo.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the temperatures will rise yet they will remain from 4 to 7 degrees Celsius below average as the country is being affected by a
superficial low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

The skies will be partly cloudy and rain showers are expected over different areas and the wind will be from western to southwestern with a moderate speed while the sea waves will be medium
in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise gradually, yet they will remain from 3 to 5 degrees Celsius lower than average and the skies will be between clear and partly cloudy in general.
