Al-Shaibani: Next government to be formed in March, representing all Syrians

Dubai, SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad al-Shaibani gave an interview on Wednesday to the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al-Qabas”, and considered that the new authority in Syria inherited a destroyed economic system and is currently facing the challenge of sanctions imposed on the ousted regime, but affecting the Syrian people.

Al-Sheibani said that we got rid of the former regime that cause to imposing sanctions on the country and that must be removed with the fall of the regime.

The Minister confirmed that others must support the new Syria and convince the European Union and the United States to remove the sanctions that imposed because of the former regime.

He considered that all the Syrian people participated in the change that took place in the country, and articulated that every change is accompanied by some concerns, and work is being done to instill peace among the Syrian people.

The incoming government in March will represent all spectrums of the Syrian people, al-Shibani affirmed, noting that building a state and an army takes quite a long time, and he said that since the first week of liberation, markets and universities have opened and employees have returned to their jobs.

On the other hand, Al-Shaibani said that he received an official invitation to visit brotherly Iraq and that he will be in Baghdad soon and also, he described the relation with Jordan as special.

After a year, we will see a Syria capable of expressing itself to the whole world, and after five years, we will be here to talk about the achievements made, Minister al-Shaibani concluded his dialogue.
