Al-Jalali receives a message from Chinese premier of the State Council on bilateral relations

Damascus, SANA- Prime Minister Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali received a message from the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Qiang, in which he expressed his country’s interest in developing bilateral relations and its keenness to implement the agreements signed between the two countries and deepen cooperation in all fields in order to achieve new and continuous development of the strategic partnership relations between the two friendly countries.

The message of the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China stated “China and Syria have a solid historical friendship, and bilateral relations have achieved distinguished development in recent years under the joint leadership and care of President Xi Jinping and President Bashar al-Assad, as well as the Chinese government is keen to make joint efforts with the Syrian government to implement the important consensus between the two presidents and exchange support steadfastly.”

Dr. al-Jalali, who recevied the message from the Chinese Ambassador in Damascus, stressed the depth of the strategic relations that bind the two friendly countries and peoples, and the Syrian government’s keenness and aspiration to develop and enhance joint cooperation in various fields, including the participation of Chinese companies in the reconstruction of Syria.

Al-Jalali pointed out the importance of mutual support for the positions of the two countries and their just causes, adherence to their sovereignty and territorial integrity, and rejection of foreign interference in their internal affairs.
