Syria, IFAD discuss enhancing support for livestock development

Damascus, SANA- Syria and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) discussed Livestock Development Project.

That came during a meeting between Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Eng. Mohamed Hassan Qatna, and a delegation headed by IFAD consultant, Mr Abdelhamid Abdouli on Sunday.

The discussions touched on Livestock Development Project funded by (IFAD), and the project plan for the current year.

Minister Qatana underscored the importance of cooperation with the organization through developing livestock project, which achieved good results over the past years.

He stressed the ministry’s readiness to provide all facilitations for the organization’s work in Syria, in a way that serves the project’s work plan.
