An event to introduce “Syrian cuisine” at the Syrian Embassy in Tokyo

Tokyo, SANA-The Syrian Embassy in Japan organized an event entitled (Syrian Cuisine Culture) which included an explanation of how to prepare different types of Syrian recipes.

Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy, ​​Muhammad Najib Ilji, stressed during the event that it comes in the context of introducing Japanese youth to Syria and its culture.

For his part, Dr. Hiroyuki Aoyama, founder of the Friends of Syria network association, considered these events to be a gateway to introducing the Japanese people to the Syrian society and culture.

He and all the students expressed their admiration for the art of Syrian cuisine, for its richness, diversity, and good taste.

The event included the screening of short films prepared by the Syrian Ministry of Tourism about Syrian cuisine and Syrian handicrafts.

A number of Japanese students participated in the event and praised this new experience that helped them learn about some aspects of Syrian culture.
