Damascus, SANA- Supported by the Syrian government, the General Authority for Palestinian Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) on Saturday distributed packages of humanitarian aid to residents of Yarmouk Camp which is besieged by terrorist organizations.
Director-General of GAPAR Ali Mustafa told SANA that 441 food packages along with bread, sugar, and food supplements were distributed in Palestine Street via al-Tadamon neighborhood, adding that 4,803 food packages have been distributed since aid distribution was resumed on March 5th 2015.
He said that that a total of 60,833 food packages and 11,618 health packages have been distributed in the Camp since January 30th 2014, and that 53 patients were evacuated the Camp to Damascus hospitals for treatment, bringing the number of evacuated patients since February 2014 to 4,773.
