Foreign Ministers of Russia and India discuss combating terrorism

Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar the war against terrorism, against the backdrop of the Crocus terrorist attack near Moscow.

 

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a statement, according to Sputnik, that these discussions took place during a telephone call between the two sides on Sunday.

 

During the phone call, Indian Foreign Minister “strongly condemned the inhumane terrorist attack on the Crocus Concert Hall, and renewed India’s determination to continue combating terrorism in all its manifestations.”

 

On Sunday, Russia witnessed a national public mourning for the victims of the terrorist attack that occurred at the “Crocus City” hall on the outskirts of the capital, Moscow.

 

The Russian Investigative Committee announced that the number of victims of the attack had risen to 137 people.
