Riyadh, SANA- Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ayman Soussan, discussed with Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Saudi Shura Council, means to strengthen relations between the two countries.
Talks during the meeting that took place on Tuesday at the Council’s headquarters in Riyadh, were about the historical relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them, where Al-Sheikh expressed his satisfaction over the development of relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of enhancing communication between the Syrian People’s Assembly and the Saudi Shura Council.
For his part, Soussan pointed out to the importance of working to develop fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries in a way that is consistent with the historical relations between them and serves the interests and aspirations of the two brotherly countries and peoples, and contributes to fortifying the Arab situation, particularly in light of the current challenges facing the Arab nation.
Soussan stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the People’s Assembly and the Saudi Shura Council, noting to the role played by parliamentary diplomacy in improving relations between the two brotherly countries.
