Japan, Iran and the UAE win in the Asian Football Cup of Qatar

Doha, SANA-Japan football team defeated the Vietnam counterpart 4-2 in the first round of Group D of the Asian Cup, hosted by the Qatari capital of Doha.

In the first round of the group C of the Asian Cup, the Iranian team defeated Palestine 4-1, while the UAE defeated Hong Kong team 3-1 within the same group.

The Syrian team tied 0-0 with its Uzbek counterpart at the opening match of its Asian Cup participation in group B.
