Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be cloudy in general with a chance for thundershowers, particularly over the southeastern, southern and al-Qalamoun regions.
At night, the weather will be cold in general, and frost is expected over the mountains, while fog is expected in some inland areas.
The wind will be easterly with a low to moderate speed with active gusts sometimes, particularly over the western and southern regions, and it will be southeasterly in the southern, eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions. The sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17/8, Daraa 21/10, Homs 17/7, Lattakia 23/13, Aleppo 18/6 and Deir Ezzor 19/7.
