President Al-Assad issues Law No. 39 on preserving forests

Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Monday issued Law No. 39 for the year 2023 regarding forests and forest lands with the aim of preserving forest agriculture and managing it sustainably in cooperation and partnership with the local community to ensure its protection and benefit from it, while introducing new concepts and terminology for forestry work and imposing penalties to deter any breach and protect forest areas.
