Syrian-Venezuelan talks to enhance cooperation in oil field

Damascus, SANA- Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister, Firas Hassan Qaddour, discussed with the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus, Jose Gregorio Biomorgi Muzattiz, prospects for joint cooperation and means of boosting it in the field of oil, gas and mineral resources.

During the meeting held on Tuesday in the Ministry of Oil building in Damascus, Minister Qaddour pointed out to the distinguished bilateral relations that bind the two countries, and the importance of developing and revitalizing them, in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries.

In turn, the Venezuelan ambassador expressed his country’s desire to push bilateral relations between the two countries forwards to the level of the aspirations of the two friendly leaderships and peoples.

The two sides stressed the need to activate the signed agreements and move to the implementation stages, in a way that benefits the peoples of the two countries and contributes to improving joint economic relations, especially in the various fields of oil.
