Syrian-Chinese talks to develop cooperation in administrative reform field

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Administrative Development, Dr. Salam Safaf, discussed Thursday with Chinese Ambassador in Damascus Shi Hongwei prospects for bilateral cooperation between Syria and China and means to develop them, particularly in the field of administrative reform.

During the meeting, Dr. Safaf reviewed the steps taken by the Syrian government to reach effective institutions, in addition to the exerted efforts in the field of investing in human capital to optimally benefit from the qualified and efficient cadres

Dr. Safaf expressed Syrian side desire to enhance cooperation with the Chinese side through signing a memorandum of understanding between the two sides.

In turn, the Chinese ambassador briefed the Syrian side on the Chinese experience in the field of institutional reform, pointing to his country’s readiness to provide all support that Syria needs to develop and rehabilitate human cadres.
