Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad discussed with Algerian counterpart, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the positive developments at the level of Arab-Arab relations and means to enhance them bilaterally and collectively.
In a telephone call, the two presidents appreciated the developments taking place on the Arab arena and their expected reflect on activating work and cooperation among the Arab countries to serve the common interests of these countries and their peoples.
In this context, President al-Assad hailed Algeria’s Arab role and its efforts for the Arab reunification.
The two leaders also discussed effective coordination and high-level cooperation between Syria and Algeria.
President al-Assad referred to Algeria’s firm stances in support of the Syrian people during the years of war, based on the principles and the historical relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples.
