Large amounts of weapons and ammunition seized in Daraa countryside

Daraa, SANA- The competent authorities seized large quantities of weapons and ammunitions left behind by Daesh terrorist organization in several areas of Daraa countryside.

A competent authorities source in Daraa told SANA reporter that during the combing operations of the rest of areas and farms in the vicinity of the cities and towns in Daraa province, and in cooperation with the locals, a large amount of light and medium weapons and ammunition left behind by Deash terrorist organization, were seized.

The weapons which were seized included automatic rifles, and medium and heavy machine guns, RPG launchers, mortars, grenades and various kinds of rounds and large quantities of ammunition for these weapons, the source added.

The source pointed out that the competent authorities continues to pursue the terrorists and comb the areas liberated from terrorism and to remove the explosives and weapons to protect the life of the locals.
