Wednesday Weather: Temperatures above average, rainfalls expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 4 to 7 degrees above average as the country is affected by a weak low pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected on its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and partially cloudy in general, and there will be an opportunity for rains that will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes over different areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions.

The wind will be southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts sometime and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 28/15, Daraa 32/15, Homs 27/13, Lattakia 27/18, Aleppo 29/14 and Deir Ezzor 34/16.
