Donetsk: Almost 4500 civilians killed by Kiev regime forces since February 2022

Donetsk, SANA- The Ukrainian armed forces’ shelling attacks have killed almost 4,500 people in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) since the beginning of the Russian special military operation to protect Donbass in February 2022, DPR authorities announced.

“During 403 days of escalation, as many as 684 civilians, including 28 children, have been killed in the territory within the borders established before the start of the Russian military operation,” Novosti quoted DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukrainian war crimes.

According to the office “In the liberated areas, 3,787 civilians were killed, including 106 children, during the military operation.”

It added that during this period, 4,253 civilians, including 274 children, were wounded, while more than 16,400 shelling operations were recorded, including 16,100 using heavy weapons during the same period.

The attacks damaged over 10,000 residential buildings and almost 2,500 civilian infrastructure facilities.
