Iranian, Saudi foreign ministers discuss arrangements for joint meeting in phone conversation

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan, during a phone call on Monday, the latest developments in the agreement on restoring bilateral relations and holding a meeting between them soon.

“The two sides discussed in this phone conversation the joint bilateral meeting scheduled to be held during the month of Ramadan and exchanged views on it,” Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Monday, noting that “the two ministers praised the constructive path of relations between the two countries,”.

The two ministers agreed, during a phone call three days ago, to hold a bilateral meeting between them soon to pave the way for the reopening of embassies and consulates between the two countries.
