Damascus Countryside, SANA- Four civilians were killed on Monday and more than twenty others injured most of them women and children, due to terrorist attacks with rocket shells on al-Wafideen Camp.
A source at the Police Command said that terrorists targeted with two rocket shells a square at the outskirts of al-Wafideen Camp where displaced families from Douma are residing, causing the death of three civilians and the injuring of 21 others, most of them are women and children.
The source added that the bodies of a woman and a three-year-old girl arrived at al-Qutifa National Hospital in addition to seven children and three women who sustained injuries of varying severity.
Terrorists also fired two rocket shells at Jaramana city in Damascus Countryside that fell in al-Nahda al-Jadida neighborhood.
Also in Damascus countryside, an armed terrorist group assassinated the mayor of Souq Barada Valley area in Damascus Countryside Iyad Abbas.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that masked individuals in a car attacked Abbas when he arrived to work at the municipality building, opening fire on him and killing him instantly.
Eight citizens got injured in terrorist attacks with five rocket shells fired by the terrorist organizations on al-Dweila and al-Sina’a neighborhoods in Damascus.
A source at police command told SANA that a shell fell down near al-Dweila tunnel, injuring five people including a woman, adding that they were admitted to hospital, while another shell landed near Isaac Bakery in the neighborhood, causing material damage only.
The source added that three shells fell down in al-Sina’a neighborhood, causing the injury of three people.
