Bagheri Kani: Tehran adamant about its position in negotiations to cancel embargo

Tehran, SANA- Tehran insists on its principled position in the course of negotiations to abolish the sanctions and the embargo imposed on it, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs and chief nuclear negotiator, Ali Bagheri Kani says.

“The negotiations are ongoing, and there has been no interruption in them, and issues related to them are being pursued seriously,” Bagheri Kani told IRNA news agency.

He added, “In these negotiations, we continue to cancel all sanctions imposed by a madman, former US President Donald Trump.”

Bagheri stressed the need to remove all obstacles that stand in the way of achieving Iran’s economic interests.

He added that the abolition of sanctions is Tehran’s main goal in the negotiations and that the framework of negotiations with the Western parties continues on this basis.
